Friends and neighbors,

I am running to represent southern Meridian Township on the Ingham County Commission.

Our wonderful, diverse community is routinely ranked at or near the top of various lists highlighting the best places to live and raise a family, but we can get even better. As a father, I want my sons and other children in our community to have the best possible place to grow up in.

I have dedicated my life to public service, working in both chambers of the legislature, serving as Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs for Governor Jennifer M. Granholm, and currently working at the Michigan Department of Transportation.

I am serving my second year as Chairman of the Ingham County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority. I am also a member of the Ingham County Economic Development Corporation Board of Directors, and was Chairman in 2014.

I want to put my experience to work for you, ensuring that we get our fair share of funding for road repair and infrastructure improvements once the Jolly/Okemos Road project is complete. There will still be much to do on neighborhood streets.

From repairing roads to improving services like animal control and preserving the Ingham Health Plan and many other issues, I would like to take my experience and go to work for you!

I have known Mark Polsdofer for over 20 years and he served as my first Chief-of-Staff in the Michigan House of  Representatives.

In that position, Mark helped to secure over $10 million to complete road projects in my district.

Mark has a proven track record of working hard, building relationships and finding resources to get jobs done.
